Lung cancer is one of the most prolific killers worldwide but it receives very little media coverage when compared to high profile breast cancer awareness campaigns. The sadness behind this lack of publicity is that few lung cancer sufferers live long enough to tell the tale. The stigma associated with suffering from a disease which is often related to smoking means it can be perceived as self-inflicted. Even those who develop lung cancer and do not smoke seem to be reluctant to talk about their battle against the disease.

In Singapore 45 men and just over 16 women in 100,000 develop lung cancer, according to the Singapore Cancer Registry 1998-2002.

Lung cancer is define as a cancer which develops in the lung, not as a………

Do you know that general symptoms occur several months before the onset of late stage lung cancer? The symptoms include……….. and Reasons for these symptoms are………read more at Healthy Times Magazine.
