Dr Susan Evans, a pelvic and laproscopic surgeon was recently in Singapore to give a talk on Endometriosis. A co-founder of the Asia Pacific Endometriosis Alliance and co-founder of Australian Endometriosis Centre, Adelaine Branch, she has the following information to share…..

Endometriosis is a silent and distressing disease and it’s one of the least talked about and understood condition of our time. It is not life threatening, but it’s definitely a “quality of life” threatening condition.

According to Dr Evans, most people know endometriosis is a condition that can cause infertility, but the most common symptom is pain. Pain with periods, pain with sex, pain opening the bowels and/or pelvic pain on most days of the month.

How is endometriosis diagnosed?

The only reliable way to diagnose endometriosis is by …….. find out at Healthy Times Magazine.

Dr Evans explains more about “chocolate cysts”, what sort of problems can endometriosis cause and how you can manage endometriosis. Further details are available at Healthy Times Magazine.
