Fragrances can either be natural or synthetic. Usually those natural ones are safe and sometimes synthetic ones can give you allergies.  Alcohols such as isopropyl, ethyl, ethanol, benzyl and methanol are known to cause dryness. Sometimes it causes inflammation. Skin dryness is prevalent when you reach middle age. So it is advisable that you avoid them because they can further irritate your skin.

Mineral oil seems natural and healthy, but frequent use may clog your pores and can even cause acne. In addition, it makes it difficult for your skin to freely produce natural oil and get rid of toxins from your body. These are just some of the harmful chemicals that can be found in many skin care products and there are so much more out there.

Some of the harmful effects of the substances used in skin care products may be mild. However, no matter how mild if they complicate with other problems and cause other severe disease, they could be deadly. So don’t let this happen to you. Enrich your knowledge of harmful substances found in skin care products and avoid using them.
